Fuente's Chateau Fuente is more than just well made. We found it's silky, light coffee colored wrapper to be very inviting. Very few veins. You find that it has no soft spots, burns evenly, holds a solid light gray ash and offers a perfect draw. What more could you want! This is a straightforward, mild-to-medium-bodied Dominican smoke. It's not hugely complex, but what a great tobacco taste. Very creamy and mild. Note a slight Dominican spiciness evident. We found this cigar to be as consistent as they come. You could enjoy this smoke any time of the day. Overall, a mellow, clean tobacco taste, not too overpowering. Try smoking it with your favorite Pale Ale or if you fire up in the am, with a cup of Joe!
