Lars Tetens is an eclectic and complex individual… artist, cigar maker, musician, and more. Preceding ACID cigars in the infused cigar space, Tetens pioneered the process of conditioing tobacco amidst botanicals and essential oils decades ago. Now in partnership with Alec Bradley Cigars, Lars Tetens Cigars are produced in Esteli, Nicaragua at the J. Fuego Cigar Factory, offering different experiences to fit any taste and palate for an ever-changing experience that exhibits consistency and quality.

Within Lars Tetens’ Phat line of cigars there are several sizes representing different blends and smoking experiences from mellow to intense. All Phat cigars are rolled with a twisted head & untrimmed foot to add to the unique style of this great release. The Brief XTC is crafted with Nicaraguan long fillers, bound also by a Nicaraguan leaf, and topped off by a Nicaraguan EMS wrapper. Beyond that, details are withheld to prevent copycats. Look for this excellently constructed stick to offer super smooth, medium-bodied smoke along with mild toasty notes and a unique but easygoing spice and herbal character. Enjoy this intriguing smoke with an Old Fashioned.

Honduras has been a tobacco growing and cigar manufacturing area for hundreds of years, but it was the Communist revolution in Cuba that really put Honduras on the map. In the 1960s, many Cuban cigar makers fled their homeland and arrived in Honduras to re-establish their way of life. The immigrants took advantage of the climate, soil, and geography, which were well-suited to tobacco growing, and began producing high quality cigars. The center of the Honduran cigar industry is the city of Danli and the nearby Jamastran Valley. The majority of the world’s pure Corojo tobacco is grown here, now that Cuba has stopped production of this iconic, spicy, and rich variety in favor of Corojo hybrids. Other important areas of Honduran cigar production include the Talanga Valley, Copan, and Trojes.
