The Number 6 earned the #9 spot in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2020 with a 95 rating and Best Cigar Honduras 2020 by Cigar Journal! Handmade in the El Paraiso factory in Honduras, the Number 6 includes a Honduran-grown Corojo wrapper, a Honduran binder, and a filler blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves. Medium in body, once lit you’ll find notes of honey, vanilla, coffee, earth, and bread.

Originally, the Reserva Original was released as Reserva Organic, and it is not only the first but the only fully organic blend in the world, made exclusively with tobaccos certified by the Organic Crop Improvement Association! This Nicaraguan puro features tobacco from Plasencia’s farms in Estelí and Jalapa, all of which is aged a minimum of five years. This smoke is said to have the same taste that would have captivated the Europeans over five centuries ago.

The Riverboat is in tribute to Samuel Clemens' years as a riverboat pilot on the Mississippi River, where his pen name ‘Mark Twain’ came from. The first thing you’ll immediately notice are the twin Connecticut and Maduro barber pole wrappers. Underneath is a Nicaraguan binder and a robust mix of Nicaraguan long-fillers. Medium in body, expect notes of wood, toast, cedar, and sweet spice from the maduro wrapper.

The 829 Maduro Torpedo is a lesser known cigar but let us assure you, it’s tasty! Hailing from the Dominican Republic, this torpedo features a stunning, thick chocolate brown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that encases a zesty Dominican binder and bevy of perfectly aged Dominican fillers. Medium in body, the 829 Maduro lends smooth, rich and creamy notes with a natural sweetness on the finish thanks to the maduro wrapper.

Guillermo Rico has been a leaf broker, a grower, and such an accomplished catador (cigar taster) that he reportedly can differentiate five different leaves in a single blend. Born in Cubita, Colombia to a family of tobacco growers, he and his son George own the Gran Habano and GR Tabacaleras Unidas lines of cigars. They established their Danli, Honduras factory in 1998, initially producing cigars for Alec Bradley and other top cigar labels.

Created to commemorate Perdomo’s 20th Anniversary, this Nicaraguan handmade is definitely one for the books. Each smoke starts with a beautiful 8-year old Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that is bourbon barrel-aged for an additional 8 months prior to securing a Nicaraguan binder and a carefully aged blend of Cuban-seed long-fillers that are top-priming tobaccos from Esteli, Jalapa, and Condega.

Created by one of Drew Estate’s master blenders, Willy Herrera, the Herrera Esteli Brazilian Stalk Cut Maduro stacks up to the original line of Herreras. Willy started in Little Havana, Miami and his talents quickly became noticed by some of the best in the industry with Drew Estate quick to pick him up. His first cigar, the original Herrera Estelí, blew away consumers and critics alike with his Cubanesque style and his entubo style rolling technique.

Ave Maria is known for its exquisite label art and packaging, and the Ave Maria Reconquista you have in your shipment is a prime example with its signature and very impressive label art. Only made in one vitola (shape), a torpedo, the Reconquista starts with a very hearty combination of very well-aged Cuban-seed, Nicaraguan-grown leaves from Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa, which is hugged by a zesty Honduran binder.

Long Live the King is a prime example of Robert Caldwell’s quest for top notch tobaccos. This Dominican puro features an aged, beautiful mocha brown Dominican Corojo wrapper that firmly secures a premium Dominican binder and a bevy of Dominican long-fillers. Perfectly constructed, this puro is medium to full bodied with flavors of earth, oak, and chocolate, with hints of black pepper.
